Metadata Summary

Originator Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Abstract
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has a Web application called What's In My Neighborhood (http://www.pca.state.mn.us/WIMN/index.cfm). The purpose of this application is to provide the public with information about approximately 150,000 individual sites that the MPCA is interested in.

For each site or facility, you can find information about permits or registrations, enforcement actions, MPCA contacts, and links to related information. The application allows the user to search for sites using a text interface or a map interface.

This data set contains features for all of the What's In My Neighborhood sites for which we have locational data. Note that at this time, we do not have locational data for all of the sites in What's In My Neighborhood. A fact sheet describing the types of programs represented in What's In My Neighborhood can be downloaded at: http://www.pca.state.mn.us/publications/gp2-02.pdf
