I already sent letters to each of them giving them a deadline after which the offer was rescinded.  So I think that takes care of it.

Hi Arlene

Looks like we’ve reached closure.  One final thought…do you think we should issue some type of final correspondence to the three properties that refused access / well sealing indicating that we will not be offering to seal their well in the future?  Perhaps this has already been documented, just wondering how much of a paper trail is needed for a situation like this…

Thanks

Tom

I have received sealing records for 13 monitoring wells, 3 test wells, and 2 private wells, plus a well record for the installation of one new well all relating to Schmunks.  In addition, 6 vapor monitoring points and 2 sub-slab monitoring points were also sealed but sealing records are not required for them and Terracon arranged for one city hookup.  So here’s how things stand in relationship to our requests:

·        Old DWW should be sealed and replaced with new ones:

o   108 Lake Ave (Caroline) – work was completed

o   210 Lake Ave (Melhouse) – access permission not granted

·        Hookup to city water, seal old wells:

o   315 Lake Ave (Nye/Gregg Residence) – work was completed

o   1703 3rd St (Miller/Krause Residence) – access permission not granted

·        Seal irrigation well:

o   321 Taft (Potts) – access permission not granted

This appears to be as far as we’re going to be able to go.  You ready to close this one?
