Craig and Jim, Will you both add comments to the leak site TALES record on the Bernie Hawn site.

Jim, call Mr. Hawn to let him know he will be receiving a letter from PRP with instructions of what to do next.  Remind him Dean's Tank is his contractor not MPCA's.  Lastly, his future MPCA contact will be Andy Eddy and give him his phone number.

Andy, What else is needed from ER on this and do you want you to tell the RP in regards to next steps.

Questions or problems with this game plan let me know.  Thanks to everyone for resolving this.

I'm sorry you feel that way...it really wasn't meant as much of an explanation as our staff just want the short hand version of what is up. I think in this case there blame to go around for everyone and mostly the home owner and his contractor. I think we should discuss this when we talk about the transfer policy. I think we need to do this sooner rather later. Let me know what time works for you and Don.

Dorene - I think your explanation to the ER staff on what happened was rather unfair to PRP. Anyways, there is significant role for ER to play here and I would like to discuss this with you. Please give me a call at your convenience.

When you send out the standard letter, you may want to edit the letter to reflect the work that has progressed to date.  I think the homeowner needs a call so he understands the process.  He seems to think he didn't hire the contractor that is working for him.  I've left Dave Lein, Compliance Solutions, a message but no return call from him.  What specifically do you need from the ER program?

Stopped by the site this morning.  The soil is being hauled away today.  Camera crew was there filming the removal.

an emergency bid waiver was issued and the homeowners contractor was doing the work.  they stopped or forgot to finish it or something and PRP did not send out a standard letter so it sat for 10 months.  They homeowner was in charge of his destiny but did not know it.  I'm not sure he knows still.
